Diocese of Phoenix COVID-19 Update: June 29, 2020
Our Priests and Staff are healthy and eager to return to work! Masses will resume Friday, July 3.

Fr. Jess and Fr. Clement are deeply appreciative of all of the well wishes and support they received while in quarantine owing to the COVID-19 virus. They experienced mild symptoms and are so happy to have been given the "green light" to resume all of their duties, beginning with the regular mass schedule commencing this Friday with 8:00am Daily Mass. Our Saturday schedule resumes as usual with 8:00am Daily Mass and 5:00pm Vigil Mass with confessions heard in the former Gift Shop from 3:30-4:30pm.
The regular mass schedule continues on Sunday with masses at 7:00am, 9:00am, 11:00am and the 4:00pm Teen Mass. Both the 11:00am and 4:00pm Masses will also be live-streamed through our website.
Those who participate in the 11:00am live-stream Mass are invited to receive communion in the church from 12:00-12:30pm on Sunday. You may also make a Spiritual Communion at any mass you view online.
It is very important to know that everyone who goes inside the church for Mass, adoration, prayer or any other reason must wear a mask. This weekend we will have a small tent in the courtyard before each mass offering masks and hand sanitizer. We greatly appreciate your cooperation with this new mandate. Also, please know that communion will be dispensed to the hand only.
We are all still dispensed from the Sunday Mass obligation. Please do not attend Mass if you feel unwell or have any concerns about your well-being and safety.
Our mission is to build a community of missionary disciples through the sacraments, prayer, acts of charity, and evangelization and catechesis based on the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

07-05-2020David LinsI trust I don't have to repeat the litany of issues we are all facing these days...and it might not be over. Just last week, a 7.5 earthquake hit Mexico. Then, the next day, a 5.8 said hello to central California. Do any of you really want to rule out The Big One hitting California this year? (I'm not saying I want that to happen, I have many dear friends out West.) The point is - 2020's rough start might just turn into a rough year.
I think it is very important for all of us to ingest a few specific words from Sunday's Gospel reading: “Come to me, all you who...are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”
